Rob Devereux, CEO of ICD Brookfield announced the company’s sustainable goal to reach net-zero by 2030. Transitioning to net zero is crucial for a business’s sustainability and reduction in its carbon footprint. ICD Brookfield will collaborate with tenants and suppliers to tackle emissions together and implement an innovative tenant engagement program to raise awareness, provide throughout leadership, and optimize their operational performance.

ICD Brookfield Place’s ambitious sustainability goals are in line with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change’s (UNFCCC) Paris Agreement goals of keeping global warming to well below 2°C (preferably to 1.5°C) compared to pre-industrial levels. ICD Brookfield Place has also signed up to the World Green Building Council’s Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment which recognizes leadership action by businesses, organizations, cities and subnational governments in tackling operational and embodied carbon emissions from the building and construction sector.

Here at Inspire Integrated we are motivated and we look forward to working alongside our partners in achieving this goal.
